Nominations for Council

The annual election of the ACT Divisional Council will be held in March 2012.

In 2012, nominations are being called for all positions on the ACT Divisional Council.

Members of the ACT Division who are Life Fellows, Fellows, Associates, Graduates, Provisional Associates and Provisional Members are able to nominate for a position on the Divisional Council.

Divisional Councillors will hold office for a term of two years, and at every AGM, one half of the elected Councillors retire their positions.

A Divisional Councillor will be able to serve a maximum of four consecutive terms, unless they are elected to a position of office holder ( President, Vice President and Immediate Past President) at either Divisional or National level.

The President may be re-elected in successive years and remain in office up to a maximum of three years continuous service. The Vice President may be re-elected in successive years and remain in office for a maximum period of four years continuous service.

Nominations are required to be in the hands of the Executive Officer by 5PM on Wednesday the 25th January.

Late nominations will not be accepted.
